Historic & Production Details:
- Origin: Stamped explicitly \"WEST GERMANY\" on the original crimped metal hanging caps.
- Era: This designation securely dates the collection to the post-WWII divided Germany era, specifically the 1950s to 1960s.
- Craftsmanship: These ornaments represent the pinnacle of post-war German holiday craftsmanship. They feature high-quality mercury glass blowing, vibrant lacquered paint finishes, and heavily textured, stenciled white mica scrollwork. The deep, central concave indents are designed to brilliantly capture and reflect the ambient light from your holiday tree.
Color Palette & Content:
- 2 Deep Red Ornaments featuring bold, textured white mica wave stenciling flanking a center green ornament.
- 2 Brilliant Emerald Green Ornaments featuring gold-painted framing rings around the central starburst indent.
- 2 Rich Golden-Yellow Ornaments decorated with delicate white stenciled scrollwork accents.
Condition Report:
- Ornaments: Mint vintage condition. The glass is free of cracks, chips, or breaks. The silvering is exceptionally bright, and the hand-painted lacquer finishes retain incredible color vibrancy with virtually no wear, fading, or paint loss. The original stamped metal caps remain perfectly attached.
- Box: Excellent original condition with typical age-related storage patina. The inner dividers are solid and completely intact, offering great structural integrity for continued preservation.
