Up for sale is a remarkably preserved piece of American pharmaceutical and marketing history. This listing features a vintage 8 oz. amber glass bottle of Hadacol manufactured by The LeBlanc Corporation out of Lafayette, Louisiana.
What is included:
- The Bottle: Original amber glass bottle, completely full and unopened with the factory-sealed contents intact. The paper labels are in excellent shape.
- The Box: The iconic blue, red, and yellow outer product box detailing the vitamins, minerals, and 12% alcohol content. The box shows minor edge wear consistent with its age, but all flaps are present.
- The Insert: The highly elusive factory informational paper insert/brochure is completely intact and tucked inside.
Historical Significance:
Invented by Louisiana State Senator Dudley LeBlanc, Hadacol was a mid-century cultural phenomenon famous for its heavy marketing campaigns, traveling caravan shows, and underground popularity in \"dry\" counties. Complete \"New Old Stock\" examples with full liquid, box, and paper inserts are incredibly difficult to find.
