Up for sale is a classic mid-century modern desk accessory: a mechanical perpetual globe flip calendar. The rotating globe features an intricate, vintage-style \"Old World\" map design with illustrations of historic ships and sea monsters. [1, 2]
- How it Works: Simply rotate the spherical globe upside down and back upright, and the internal numeric date panels mechanically cycle to the next day. The bottom base features manually adjustable rollers to update the month and day of the week. [1, 2, 3]
- Condition: Authentic vintage condition with a gorgeous aged patina on the brass housing. The tin lithograph map face is vibrant with minor, normal surface wear from age. (Note: Please add a quick line confirming if the internal panels drop smoothly without catching and if the bottom rollers turn easily).
- Dimensions: Approximately 3.25\" Height x 2.25\" Width. [1]
Perfect addition to an executive desk, library, home office bookshelf, or vintage curiosities collection! Please view all high-resolution photos to evaluate condition detail.
