Original vintage 1991 The New Yorker advertisement for Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers, featuring a striking black-and-white image of one of the company’s handcrafted wood rocking chairs beneath the line:
“Comfort by design.”
A beautiful minimalist furniture ad with strong appeal for Thos. Moser collectors, furniture makers, woodworkers, cabinetmakers, rocking chair collectors, interior designers, architects, mid-century and traditional furniture enthusiasts, Maine craftsmanship collectors, and vintage design advertising fans.
The ad also references Thos. Moser locations in Alexandria, Philadelphia, and Portland, Maine, giving it an additional regional and American craft-history angle.
This is an original magazine advertisement from a 1991 issue of The New Yorker, not a reproduction. Vintage paper may show light age-related toning or handling consistent with age. Please review photos for condition.
