Vintage Stanley No. 71 router plane features a classic cast iron body with a textured nickel finish, marked "MADE IN USA" and "NO. 71". This woodworking tool includes two original wooden knobs that show heavy paint loss and wear, adding a rustic character. It comes equipped with a single cutter and a depth adjustment mechanism. The sole remains relatively smooth with typical surface scratches from use. Please note there is a visible brass-colored repair at the top of the arch where the adjustment screw sits, suggesting a previous crack was brazed. This tool is ideal for collectors or woodworkers looking for a restoration project or functional parts.
