Vintage Soviet Little Octobrist (Oktyabryonok) badge, circa 1960s–1980s: a red enamel star with a gilt portrait of Vladimir Lenin as a child, set in a white enamel ring.The Little Octobrists were the Soviet youth organization for children aged 7 to 9, the first step before the Young Pioneers and the Komsomol. Every member wore this star, with Lenin pictured as a boy so the children would see him as one of their own.- Red enamel over engine-turned rays on all five points

- Textured back with safety-pin clasp
- Faint stamped marking near the lower edge of the back
- Size: approx. 28 mm (1 1/8 in) point to point; see photo with a US quarter for scaleCondition: Enamel intact with no missing sections. A few tiny pale flecks at the edges of the red points, light surface marks on the white ring, and light wear to the gilt on the high points of the portrait. Clasp complete and working.
