Vintage Silver-Tone Crane Figurine with Gold Leaf Inlay – Hong Kong Marked, 14” Tall
Elevate your decor with this striking vintage crane sculpture, a beautiful symbol of longevity and grace in Asian-inspired design. Crafted from silver-toned metal with elegant gold leaf inlays on the feathers and body, this piece features intricate detailing: a long curved neck, open beak, and textured wings that capture the bird’s poised elegance. It stands on a sturdy circular base with subtle etched accents and four protective felt pads on the underside for stability and surface protection.
Key Details:
• Height: Approximately 14 inches (35.5 cm) tall, as measured with the included ruler.
• Condition: Excellent vintage condition – no dents, chips, or major damage. Minor surface scuffs and light patina from age add to its authentic charm but are barely noticeable (see close-up photos for transparency).
• Markings: Base stamped “Made in Hong Kong” and includes an original inventory label from Scott Shuptrine Interiors (a high-end vintage furniture retailer), noting “IBS C-1 Crane” with item number 12999490. This suggests it may have been part of a curated collection or showroom display.
• Style & Origin: Likely mid-20th century Asian export art, with a classic crane motif often seen in Hong Kong-made decorative pieces. Perfect for mantel, shelf, or entryway display.
