This authentic Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) captures a large group of men, women, and children from the early 20th century. The group is posed in front of a wooden clapboard building, likely a local schoolhouse or church. A striking detail of this photograph is that many of the children in the front rows are barefoot. The adults and older children are dressed in period attire, including hats, suspenders, and long dresses. This image provides a wonderful glimpse into rural American life during the divided back era. The card is unposted and shows typical signs of age including foxing and tanning.
