Beautiful lot of four ornate gold-tone picture frames in an eclectic mix of Baroque, Rococo and traditional styles.
This collection includes sculptural floral scrollwork, richly molded borders, black-and-gold detailing and a particularly striking cherub / putti frame with flowing ribbon-style decoration.
The different sizes and finishes work beautifully together and would make an instant maximalist gallery wall, vanity display, tabletop arrangement or decorative grouping.
Lot includes 4 frames:
Ornate gold floral scroll frame
Larger antique-style floral molded frame
Gold cherub / putti relief frame
Black and gold traditional ornate frame
Frames are mixed sizes, approximately ranging from about 7 inches to 11 inches overall. Please see measurement photos for the most accurate dimensions and opening sizes.
Condition:
Pre-owned condition with expected wear from age and display. Gold finishes show varying degrees of patina, rubbing, discoloration and surface wear. One floral frame has blue/green-toned aging or finish visible in recessed areas. Backings, stands and hanging hardware vary. Not all frames necessarily include glass, so please review photographs carefully for exactly what is included.
No attempt has been made to restore or repaint the frames. They are being sold together as the lot of four shown.
