Vintage Mid-Century Nippon Yoko Boeki Triple Penguin Ceramic Planter - Made in Japan
Add a touch of vintage mid-century charm to your collection with this adorable figural ceramic planter! It features three beautifully detailed, hand-painted penguins standing back-to-back around a central opening, resting on a textured base with a green and black rimmed pedestal.
The underside features the classic stamped black laurel wreath/clover mark reading "Hand Painted Japan," identifying it as an authentic Nippon Yoko Boeki export.
Condition: Good vintage condition with no major chips or structural cracks. Consistent with its age and mid-century pottery of this type, there is uniform fine glaze crazing visible across the white ceramic surfaces (see close-up photos). Manufacturer flaw on one beak (last photo)
Colors remain vibrant and glossy. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully as they form part of the condition description.
