Lot of 2 NOS vintage pin-striped pencils with long brass ferrules made by either Musgrave or Wallace circa 1930s as a jobber lot for a school teacher named Miss DeLong which is the only text that appears on the hexagon shaped body.
A close match to Musgrave's Magnolia No. 335; it might be a Wallace but that possibility is less likely given the stark pin-striping. This convention was iconic of Musgrave due to running a hex-shaped pencil through a round pencil painting machine resulting in the only the vertices of the hexagon being painted thus creating the pin-stripping effect. Wallace used a lithoed-type process which didn't create the definition in the pin-stripping as observed in the pencil featured in this listing.
