Authentic Mid-Century Modern Art Glass Table Lamp
Large vintage table lamp centered around an unusual faux alabaster art glass body with broad swirling bands of amber-orange, white and smoky olive-gray.The substantial glass body has a sculptural stepped cylindrical form with a polished translucent surface. Its layered, marbled appearance resembles banded alabaster or onyx, while remaining distinctly glass.A separate internal nightlight illuminates the glass body from within, producing a warm orange and amber glow and dramatically emphasizing the swirling pattern. The lamp can also be used conventionally from the upper socket.Finished with a round brass-tone base, tall flared brass neck, original-style harp and vintage socket hardware. The brass retains an attractive naturally aged finish.
