Up for sale is a stunning, highly collectible vintage set of two Blenko Art Glass Elephant Bookends featuring their iconic heavily textured "Ice Floe" finish. Designed in the 1970s, this whimsical yet sophisticated set features a stylized split elephant design—one piece showcases the detailed front face and trunk forward, while the matching piece showcases the rear view.
Crafted from solid, thick, and incredibly heavy clear crystal, these pieces double perfectly as functional bookends on a library shelf or as standalone modernist art glass sculptures and paperweights. The brilliant textured finish catches and refracts ambient light beautifully.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with no major chips, cracks, or fleabites. The glass is clear and bright. Shows very minimal bottom wear consistent with age and shelf life. Please review all high-resolution photos closely as they form part of the description.
