Beautiful handcrafted stoneware pitcher or decorative ewer produced by Tenmoku Pottery for Malaysia Handicraft. This large example features an organic botanical design with impressed natural leaves and stems highlighted by rich cobalt blue glazed medallions. The sculptural body is complemented by its original bent bamboo swing handle secured with woven rattan lashings.
This piece blends Japanese-inspired Tenmoku aesthetics with Malaysian studio pottery craftsmanship and makes an excellent display piece for collectors of studio ceramics, organic modern décor, or Asian pottery.
