Vintage MCM Solid Brass Turtle / Tortoise Figurine – Mid-Century Décor for sale

Vintage MCM Solid Brass Turtle / Tortoise Figurine – Mid-Century Décor

Charming vintage solid brass turtle / tortoise figurine with a wonderfully sculptural Mid-Century Modern look. The exaggerated long neck, rounded shell and deeply incised diamond-pattern detailing give this little piece plenty of personality.

The brass has developed a beautiful warm, naturally aged patina with darker areas that highlight the shell pattern and sculptural details. A great small accent for a teak credenza, bookshelf, desk, bar cart or collection of vintage brass animals.

• Vintage Mid-Century Modern style

• Solid brass construction

• Raised diamond-pattern shell

• Sculptural elongated neck and stylized form

• Warm aged brass patina

• Approximately 2½” tall based on the measurement shown

• Nice vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear and patina

• Great Scandinavian, Danish Modern, MCM or eclectic décor piece

A particularly fun little brass collectible that displays beautifully alongside other vintage brass animals.
