This is a 1953 Arvin radio model 760 T made in Indiana by the Noblitt-Sparks Co. Love the large speaker area and big dial. Typical of the early mid century radios just out of the deco era. There are numerous scratches but no cracks or breaks on the tan painted black bakelite case. All of the non working parts were removed. Primed & painted the sanded case a beautiful modern mint green color. Please look at the pics.Cleaned & reused the large plastic dial not perfect but original. Cleaned the original speaker cloth. On the inside, I installed a new Bluetooth digital stereo hi-fi audio amplifier with 50 watts in addition to a 4\" Infinity Reference multi range speaker. Yes this classic is now a real boom box. Reused the 3 original tan & gold knobs. This thing sounds great. Installed the on/off/volume switch with the knob on the left side. The others are fixed DO NOT TURN. All of the electronics are hard wired and secured to the inner supports insure a long life. This is one of a kind Bluetooth speaker that is MCM cool. A real conversation piece that makes a grand statement. There is a new electrical plug also. The 1953 Arvin converted to Bluetooth speaker measures a small 14\" x 7\" x 7\". Will look good, sound great and fit anywhere. Thanks for looking. ED
