These are five vintage complete Panguingue (“Pan”) card sets, a rummy-style gambling game of Philippine origin that became popular in mid-20th-century U.S. casinos (especially Las Vegas and California card rooms). A standard Pan set uses320 cards: eight 40-card decks made by stripping the 8s, 9s, and 10s from regular decks. Cards rank K-Q-J-7-6-5-4-3-2-A (7 and Jack are consecutive). All five sets here are complete per the seller.The boxes date to roughly the 1960s–1980s based on styling, zip code usage (45212 on the Bicycle boxes), and the casinos involved. 2. Blue Bicycle 808 Pan Set
Matching dark-blue box with the same “1 BICYCLE PAN SET / 808 BICYCLE PANGUINGUE CARDS” labeling and company info. Patterned blue lid. Companion piece to the red set; these two together give mixed-color backs, which some players preferred.
3. Pass Club Pan Set
Plain cream/off-white box stamped “PASS CLUB PAN SET” in dark lettering. Casino- or club-issued set (associated with Las Vegas Plaza properties in period listings). Simpler packaging typical of house-supplied game equipment rather than retail Bicycle boxes.
4. Union Plaza Pan Set
White box labeled “UNION PLAZA PAN SET.” Visible tape repair on the front panel. Issued for the Union Plaza Hotel & Casino (downtown Las Vegas landmark that opened in 1971; later rebranded The Plaza). Strong Vegas memorabilia appeal.
