Matching pair of traditional Korean Hahoe-style Yangban masks representing the nobleman or aristocrat characters from Korean folk theater. Both are hand carved from wood with expressive smiling faces, braided hanging cords and separately articulated movable jaws. Approximately 9–10 inches tall.
Good pre-owned vintage condition with surface scratches, finish wear and natural wood variations. Both movable jaws and their connecting cords are present. Light wear is visible around the mouth and jaw edges. No obvious major cracks or repairs are shown. Please review all photos closely.
