Up for sale is a beautiful, vintage Japanese artisan-made wooden box, meticulously crafted from fine-grained natural cedar wood (Sugi). This piece showcases stunning geometric engineering with faceted, sloped sides and an intricate stacked linear grain pattern that acts as a decorative accent along its edges.

The square lid features a pyramid-style finial knob and a perfectly flanged underside designed to slip snugly into the base rim. The interior boasts a completely clean, natural wood finish, accentuating the warm amber tones of the timber.
