Striking Japanese art pottery bud vase featuring an onion-bulb body, tall slender neck, and glossy yellow glaze decorated with sweeping dark green grasses and stylized yellow botanical accents. The underside is impressed “JAPAN” alongside an unidentified square maker’s mark. Its bold colors and sculptural silhouette make an attractive addition to a mid-century pottery collection. Good overall condition with fine glaze crazing and light wear around the foot; no obvious chips or repairs are visible in the supplied photos. Measures approximately 8¼" tall.
