DESCRIPTION
Wonderful lot of 19 vintage mercury glass Christmas ornaments, made in Japan.
These small glass ball ornaments measure approximately 1 inch in diameter and come in a beautiful assortment of classic vintage colors, including hot pink/fuchsia, red, cobalt blue, aqua blue, green, gold and silver.
The ornaments have the bright reflective silvered-glass finish commonly referred to as mercury glass. The vivid jewel-tone colors—especially the hot pinks and deep blues—give the lot a fantastic mid-century Christmas look.
Metal caps and wire hanging loops are present. The ornaments are vintage Japanese-made Christmas ornaments, with Japan markings visible on the caps.

Vintage pre-owned condition with authentic age-related wear and patina.
The ornaments show varying degrees of finish loss, oxidation, spotting, fading, discoloration, scratches and surface wear. Several have heavier wear, particularly the silver ornaments. Caps and hanging wires also show oxidation and discoloration from age.
Despite the wear, the ornaments retain wonderful bright vintage colors and display beautifully together.
