Vintage Italian Carved Cherub Angels Brass Pill Box Made Italy Oval 1.375".
Vintage 1.375” oval pill / trinket box, crafted in Italy.The lid features an intricately detailed, high-relief classical scene depicting playful cherubs/putti in a Neoclassical style. The etched brass case is adorned with delicatefloral and scrollwork engravings around the perimeter.
The interior base of the box is clearly stamped "MADEITALY".
Condition:
Excellent vintage pre-owned condition. The brass case is bright and shiny witha very light, aged patina. The carved insert is intact with no majorchips, showcasing beautiful natural variations and grain.
The hinge and closure work well.
