The #90 double skillet bottom is approximately equivalent to a standard #9 size skillet but is designed with a deep profile, making it function beautifully as a deep fryer or a Dutch oven base.
Produced in Erie, Pennsylvania, this piece likely dates between 1930 and 1939. Griswold offered these pieces with a beautiful plated finish to give vintage kitchens a brighter, more modern look.

Condition Description:
Excellent structural condition with expected vintage plating wear.
A major highlight: This skillet sits perfectly flat with absolutely no wobble or spin, making it a fantastic choice for modern flat glass-top or induction ranges. There are no visible cracks or chips.
Because this is a vintage plated piece, the exterior finish shows dulling, spotting, and typical wear consistent with age and regular use, revealing the dark iron beneath in some areas. The interior cooking surface is dark and smooth to the touch, with minor cosmetic patina. The bottom markings remain deep and highly legible.
