Offered is a vintage Esterbrook J-series lever-fill fountain pen in green pearlescent material with silver-colored trim.The clip is marked “ESTERBROOK,” and the interchangeable steel nib appears to be an Esterbrook No. 9556. The pen features a lever-filling mechanism, double cap bands and black end jewels.Important condition disclosure: both black end pieces are damaged. The black jewel at the top of the cap and the black jewel at the bottom of the barrel have visible cracks, chips and missing material along their edges. Additional age-related scratches, scuffs and trim wear are present throughout.The pen has not been filled or writing-tested. Its internal ink sac may be hardened or deteriorated and could require replacement. No guarantee is made regarding writing or filling performance. Sold as-is for restoration, parts or collection.
