Authentic vintage mid-century ceramic souvenir ashtray from "El Repecho" de San Telmo, the historic landmark located at Carlos Calvo 242 in the famed bohemian and tango district of San Telmo, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Features a classic mid-century modern low-profile rounded donut/saucer silhouette finished in a rich, warm terracotta orange high-gloss glaze. Designed with an inward-sloping rim that functions as a windproof ash bowl with an integrated curved cigarette rest notch. The front face showcases the ornate black wrought-iron filigree crest emblem with the letter "R" and "El Repecho de San Telmo". Complete with the clear original black stamped address and vintage 6-digit telephone number (34-4473) on the underside.
