On the back there is a brass tag made in China number 301 Also, On the back upper left of the jewelry box, there’s a crack in the wood about 4 1/2 inches long it does not affect the stability or solidness of this jewelry box. This jewelry box is solid dovetailed cedar with a red mahogany stain and weighs 6 lbs. 11 oz.. the beautiful red pink silk lining is in great condition.
