Description:
Add a touch of rustic, old-world charm to your space with this vintage solid brass hand warmer / silent butler pot. Featuring a classic dual-handle design where the top handle smoothly swivels the lid open, this piece is full of character. While historically used as a pocket/bed warmer or ash catcher, a previous owner repurposed it into a unique candle holder. It is an excellent display piece for modern farmhouse, primitive, or eclectic bohemian decor styles.
Condition:
Pre-owned vintage condition with heavy, authentic wear. The brass body shows a rich, dark patina, surface scuffs, and distinct green verdigris oxidation on the inside walls. There is a remnant tea light candle nestled in solidified white wax inside the bottom (see photos). The swivel lid mechanism operates smoothly and the handles align neatly when closed. Please examine all photos closely to appreciate its full vintage character before purchasing.
