Up for sale is a fantastic, nostalgic lot of vintage Awana Clubs International athletic awards dating back to the late 1980s / 1990s. Perfect for collectors of vintage youth organization memorabilia, retro scouting-style items, or Awana alumni looking to replace lost awards!
What is Included in This Bundle:
• (1) Vintage 1st Place Awana Olympics Medallion: Features the iconic cursive Awana logo and interlocking organizational circles on the front. The back is beautifully stamped with \"1st PLACE\" and the ministry\'s core scripture acronym text: \"Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed - 2 Tim. 2:15\". Includes the original green, yellow, and blue striped neck ribbon canvas strap.
• (2) Vintage Awana Olympics Embroidered Merits: Two distinct color variation uniform patches including the white canvas style (blue border/red text) and the dark blue canvas style (red border/white text). Both feature classic vintage heat-seal plastic backings.
Condition Details:
Items are in good, pre-owned vintage condition with excellent structural integrity. The medal has a beautiful natural aged bronze patina with very minor surface wear. The embroidered patches feature bold colors with crisp stitching and clean edges; one patch has a tiny loose thread tail on the bottom border which can be easily snipped.
