The famous riverboat is wonderfully rendered with molded architectural details, paddle wheel, twin smokestacks, decks, windows, gold-tone accents and a dramatic blue molded “water” base.The Robert E. Lee, built in 1866, became one of America’s best-known Mississippi River steamboats and is especially remembered for its legendary 1870 race with the Natchez. This vintage Italian decanter makes an outstanding display piece for collectors of steamboats, riverboat memorabilia, vintage liquor decanters, ANRI Italian collectibles, nautical décor or Americana.This example displays beautifully.
