Fantastic vintage tubular knit fabric in a vivid hot pink/fuchsia color with a fine vertical ribbed texture. The fabric was knitted as a continuous tube rather than conventional flat yardage, leaving no open lengthwise edges or side seam. It has noticeable crosswise stretch of more than an inch when gently pulled, along with a soft, flexible drape suited to garment sewing.Measures approximately 25” wide when laid flat × 72” long (2 continuous yards). Because of the tubular construction, the fabric measures approximately 50” around the full circumference when unstretched.This type of tubular knit was especially useful for streamlined stretch garments and makes an excellent vintage choice for a fitted top, tank, skirt, dress, tube-style garment, knit accessories or other retro sewing projects. The saturated fuchsia color and fine ribbed surface give it particularly strong 1970s/1980s fashion appeal.No maker or fiber-content marking has been identified.
