Up for sale/sale is a highly collectible lot of two (2) rare, authentic vintage 1970s bumper stickers produced by Hallmark Cards, Inc. during the height of the 1974 streaking craze! These unique novelty items are branded under the \"Bumper Streakers\" line and capture a hilarious moment in American pop culture history. They feature the original \"Zip-Strips\" removable backing format. Each sticker measures 15 inches by 4 inches. They were found pinned to the rafters in a shed, and are in rough condition. I have no idea if they would survive an attempt to remove the backing, and I would advise against trying. I don\'t think these are destined to adorn a cars bumper anymore, but they are a VERY cool item to display. What’s Included:
- \"Jogging is out... Streaking is in\" – Bold yellow sticker with retro brown/purple lettering (Serial: 50QG116-1B).
- \"Honk if you love streaking\" – Vibrant green sticker with retro yellow lettering (Serial: 50QG116-1A).
Condition Report:Please review the listing photos carefully to verify the exact condition:
- Fronts: Both stickers feature bright, unfaded colors and crisp vintage typography. There is light surface dirt and minor edge wear consistent with 50-year-old paper items.
- Backing & Edges: The peel-off \"Zip-Strips\" backings are fully intact and have never been stuck to a vehicle. However, they do show significant signs of age, including rough/chewed edges, paper separation, staining, and tearing along the margins.
- Perfect for framing, scrapbooking, or adding to a specialized 1970s advertising collection!
