Up for sale is an authentic, official piece of scouting history—the official bolo tie issued for the 1969 BSA National Jamboree held at Farragut State Park, Idaho.
Design & Details:
• Main Slide: Features a round enamel emblem showcasing a detailed elk/deer silhouette set against the beautiful Idaho mountain and water landscape backdrop.
• Text: Crisply reads "1969 National Jamboree Idaho" along with the classic universal Boy Scout fleur-de-lis logo.
• Cord & Tips: Features the original woven cream/off-white fabric neck cord complete with the distinctive coiled gold-tone wire metal barrel tips.
• Fastener: Built-in tension-clasp slide on the reverse side holds the cord securely in place.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The colorful enamel emblem on the front is beautiful, bright, and completely free of chips or cracks. The tension clip on the reverse functions perfectly. The woven cord is clean with only minor signs of light storage wear consistent with age, and the metal tips remain securely attached.
A wonderful, clean addition to any vintage Boy Scout memorabilia collection or patch/insignia display!
