Original Vintage 1967 Le Petit Saint-Benoit Restaurant Menu Maison Varet Paris France
By the date of this menu, Le Petit Saint-Benoît had been serving plain bistro fare at 4 rue Saint-Benoît, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, since about 1901, and had long stayed in the hands of the founding family. It was a fixture of the Left Bank literary quarter: the novelist Marguerite Duras, who lived just across the street at No. 5, kept a regular table there. The little restaurant preserved its turn-of-the-century room and unpretentious menu largely unchanged, and it still operates today.
It measures 14\" x 10\"
