Vintage 1960s Christmas Reindeer Made in Japan Velveteen Qty 3 Bells Tags MCM
Vintage Christmas Reindeer. Lot of 3 vintage velveteen Christmas reindeer, made in Japan,1960s. Sawdust-stuffed velveteen bodies with glass eyes, black bead noses,felt smiles, and goldribbon harnesses with brass bells. Two of the three still have their original sewn-in \"Made in Japan\" cloth tags on the back leg.
Size (approximate, each): 10.5 inches tall to top of antlers, 6.5 inches tall to top of head, 3.5 inches long nose to tail.
Included:
1. Cream/white reindeer with red felt antlers and red-trimmed gold harness (tagged)
2. Kelly green reindeer with white felt antlers and white-trimmed gold harness
3. Olive green reindeer with gold lamé antlers and white-trimmed gold harness (tagged)
Product Tag: Made in Japan
Condition:Excellent vintage condition. The white reindeer has a little stain on its front right leg and one on its nose. On the kelly green reindeer there is a small amount of sawdust stuffing visible at the base of one antler. Both antlers are still firmly seated in the head. Two of the reindeer have a \"Made in Japan\" tab, the third one does not. All three stand on their own.
