Offered for sale is an authentic, original 1959 "Custom Craft Line" Christmas card salesman sample album issued by the Harry Doehla Co. of Nashua, New Hampshire. This complete sales portfolio was used by agents to gather custom-imprinted name orders for the 1959 holiday season.
The horizontal binder features its original bright red illustrated cover and is bound with its factory white plastic comb element. The interior houses dozens of intact, pristine sample greeting cards mounted onto heavy black paper leaves. The pages highlight various mid-century graphic subsets, including "The Picture Chrome Line" featuring photographic prints, "The Regal Deluxe Line" with embossed gold detailing, and Mid-Century Modern illustrated cards showing festive scenes, Santas, and nativity displays. The opening leaf contains detailed instructional text outlining name imprinting etiquette, while the back cover features the company's full customer guarantee statement.
A solid addition for collectors of mid-century holiday advertising, graphic design history, or retro 1950s Christmas ephemera. Please review the high-resolution photographs to independently verify the cover wear, plastic comb condition, and sample layout integrity.
