Description:
Add a charming touch of mid-century Americana to your collection with this rare, complete Vintage 1950s "SMILE" Travel Toothbrush Kit. Manufactured by "A Gold Tone Product" out of New York City, USA, this miniature pocket vanity set is highly collectible and beautifully preserved.
The sliding brass-colored metal case features an applied metal relief emblem on the top depicting a retro toothpaste tube and toothbrush that reads "SMILE." The back of the case retains its original, authentic oval foil label featuring a treble clef logo and still displays the distinct circular ventilation holes designed to let the brush dry.
What’s Included:
• Original Retail Box: Clear plastic protective top lid with cardboard backing.
• Gold-Tone/Brass Slider Case: Ventilated back with intact vintage brand label.
• Vintage Toothbrush: Clear plastic handle travel size with white bristles.
• Mini Pepsodent Toothpaste Tube: Unopened, sample-sized vintage tube featuring iconic red and white diagonal script and its original red ridged cap.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The metal has a beautiful aged patina. The original paper foil label on the back is intact and completely legible. The vintage Pepsodent tube is incredibly well-preserved without any leaks or splits.
