The ceramic base is impressed “FRANCE” on the underside. Its fluted form, glazed finish, and hand-painted decoration give the lamp a charming traditional French decorative character.

The lamp is fitted with ornate patinated brass hardware, including an openwork decorative collar and vintage socket. The combination of painted French ceramic and naturally aged metal gives the piece a particularly attractive time-worn appearance.

The lamp measures approximately 12 inches tall to the top of the socket, with the ceramic body measuring approximately 9.5 inches tall.

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. The ceramic is attractive and well preserved, with no chips or cracks observed. The metal hardware shows natural oxidation, patina, and age-related wear. There is a slight dent/warping to the lower metal base, as shown in the photos. Vintage wiring is present and the lamp is being sold UNTESTED. For safe use, inspection and/or rewiring by a qualified professional is recommended. Shade, harp, and finial are not included.
