Up for sale is an authentic vintage Coca-Cola 16-inch embossed brass button sign dating to the mid-to-late 1950s.Unlike the common painted tin or porcelain-enamel red Coke buttons, solid brass examples were produced in far smaller quantities and primarily installed in upscale indoor soda fountain lounges, distributor showrooms, and corporate architectural displays.Features & Markings
Embossing:
Deep, crisp die-stamped lettering reading \"DRINK\" at the top, the classic Spencerian \"Coca-Cola\" script in the center, and \"TRADE-MARK ®\" at the base.Trademark Dating: The simplified \"TRADE-MARK ®\" designation below the script dates this piece to the mid-to-late 1950s transition period.Construction: Heavy, solid gauge brass formed in a convex (domed) button shape with a turned outer mounting rim.Mounting: Retains its factory perimeter holes on the turned edge for wall or display mounting.DimensionsDiameter: 16 inchesDepth: Approximately 1.5 inches deep (convex profile)This sign has survived in exceptional original condition. The front displays a mellow,
undisturbed dark bronze/brown patina developed over decades. There are light surface handling marks consistent with age, but no severe creasing, tears, or structural issues. The reverse retains its natural unpolished brass finish showing the clean impression of the stamping. It has been left completely unrestored and unpolished to preserve its collector appeal and historical integrity.
