Original World War II militaria piece produced for the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps.

Thick 100% wool construction provides substantial warmth and weight for field use or display.

Sewn quartermaster label reads: "Marshall Field & Co. 100% Wool QM-9728, Dated 10-28-44, Stock No. 27-B-678, Spec. No. 8-111-A-Type I, Phila. Q.M. Depot".

Finished edges with stitched binding, typical of wartime U.S. issue blankets.
