Vintage lot of 14 assorted greeting cards, primarily dating from the 1940s–1950s. A wonderful collection of original mid-century paper ephemera featuring colorful illustrations, floral designs, foil accents, die-cut details, dimensional embellishments, and classic period graphics.
The assortment includes Birthday, Mother’s Day, Christmas, New Baby and other occasion cards. Several different styles and manufacturers are represented, including Norcross Inc. New York and National Printing Co. One card is marked with a 1947 copyright (MCMXLVII), and another has a handwritten date of November 5, 1948.
Several cards have handwritten names, messages or greetings inside, adding to their authentic vintage character and history.
Condition varies throughout the lot due to age and previous use. Expect normal vintage wear including discoloration, age toning, small stains, edge/corner wear and other signs of handling and storage. Please review all photos carefully as they are an important part of the description and show the exact cards and condition included.
