For sale here is a wonderful, authentic 3-piece set of vintage 1930s Walt Disney Mickey Mouse bisque musical figurines. Manufactured in pre-war Japan, these highly collectible pieces are a fantastic addition to any early Disneyana collection.
This cohesive trio features Mickey and Minnie Mouse playing three distinct instruments, complete with their original incised factory mold markings on the reverse and embossed character names on the front.
The Set Includes:
• Mickey Mouse Drummer: Features the factory mold stamp "C92" and "MADE IN JAPAN" on the reverse. Embossed block lettering reading "MICKEY MOUSE" stretches across the front of the trousers.
• Mickey Mouse Horn/Saxophone Player: Features the factory mold stamp "C93" and "MADE IN JAPAN" on the reverse. Features a beautiful, stylized cursive "Mickey Mouse" script incised directly on the gold-painted horn.
• Mickey Mouse Mandolin Player (Rare Factory Crossover Variant): Features the factory mold stamp "C69" and "MADE IN JAPAN" on the reverse. This is a fascinating production crossover piece—the body mold features the embossed "MINNIE MOUSE" name band under the mandolin, but it was factory-fitted with a Mickey Mouse head.
Excellent vintage condition. All three figurines are structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, chips, or past glued repairs.
Figures show typical, age-appropriate flaking and wear to the original "cold paint" finish, giving them a beautiful, authentic vintage character. Please review the high-resolution photos carefully to judge the paint condition for yourself.
Approximate Height: ~3.25 inches each.
These 90+ year-old pieces are incredibly charming and hard to find as a matching group.
This is a fantastic, ready-to-display addition to any early Disneyana, pre-war toy, or vintage animation collection.
