Up for sale is an original 100-year-old advertising wall calendar issued for 1925 by The McCartney National Bank. It features a lithograph print of the 1898 painting "A Mountain of Loadstone" by American artist Thomas Moran, printed by the Thos. D. Murphy Co. of Red Oak, Iowa.
Please Note Condition:
Detached Pad (Still Bound): The calendar pad is completely detached from the main upper advertising poster backer. However, all 12 monthly pages (January–December) remain fully bound together as a single unit.
Photos: The bound calendar pad was temporarily pinned in place for the listing photos to show how the piece looks when fully assembled.
December Sheet Damage: The final page (December) has paper damage/a torn section visible on the back of the sheet (clearly shown in the detailed close-up
photos).
General Wear: The main backer sheet shows normal light edge wear and paper aging consistent with its century-old vintage status, but it remains bright and highly presentable.
Great historical piece for Wisconsin banking or vintage paper collectors. Will be shipped carefully protected flat or rolled.
The total sheet dimensions are approximately 47 inches high by 35 inches wide.
