Wonderful vintage lot of 8 hand-carved and hand-painted wooden figural letter openers, made in Italy.
Each measures approximately 8” long and features a whimsical carved character with expressive facial details, hats and clothing. All eight are different, making this a particularly nice ready-made collection.
At least one is clearly stamped “MADE IN ITALY.” These are similar in style to collectible Italian/ANRI folk-art desk accessories, but no ANRI maker mark has been confirmed, so they are being sold as maker unknown.
Vintage pre-owned condition with expected signs of age, including scattered paint wear, small marks and surface wear as visible in the photos. Overall they retain wonderful character and display very well.
Included: 8 wooden figural letter openers
Length: Approx. 8” each
Material: Wood
Origin: Italy
Great collection for lovers of vintage Italian folk art, carved wood, whimsical desk accessories and letter opener collections.
