Vintage 1960\'s Era Decorative Hand-Woven & Painted Souvenir Winnowing Basket
The artwork prominently showcases a woman wearing a traditional Filipina dress featuring distinctive puffy sleeves. Sitting next to her is a salakot, the wide-brimmed traditional sun hat commonly used in the Philippine countryside.
Dimensions:Diameter = 12.75 inchesDepth = 1.25 inches
Condition: The basket is structurally sound and sturdy. The painting has good color with some signs of fading and light discoloration. There are some chips is the paint (and I\'m not sure if the tan colored lines are missing paint or as original ~ SEE PHOTOS). Please see all photos and feel free to contact us with any questions.
