This charming vintage souvenir spoon features a detailed figural finial of the iconic Walter Lantz character, Woody Woodpecker. The handle is vertically embossed with his name, adding to its nostalgic appeal. According to the reverse stamp, it was produced by the Wm. Rogers & Son (part of International Silver Co.) under the 'Old Company Plate' mark, which was a known line for promotional and souvenir flatware. The spoon is crafted from silver-plated metal, displaying a bright finish with light natural patina. A fantastic find for animation enthusiasts, Walter Lantz fans, or collectors of character-themed silverware. Given its design and manufacturer hallmarks, it likely dates to the mid-20th century when such character premiums were highly popular. Its solid construction and iconic subject matter make it a desirable piece for display or a curated collection of Americana.
