Thanks for looking!
Definitely a OOAK! This was purchased sometime around 1974 in Arizona. Depicts Native American/Navajo woman in traditional dress. Growing up, I loved seeing this doll on the shelf. She reminded me of sunny Tucson, Arizona, where my parents most likely acquired her.Everything about this doll looks to be handmade to me. Handsewn velvet dress with colorful petitcoat and leggings, ribbon for belt, fabric shoes, leather for hands, beads for earrings and necklace, sequins for buttons or conchos, hand drawn face, and yarn hair.
This decor piece has never been "played with" and is not intended for play. Meant as a decor piece. Not super delicate, but delicate enough. Measures about 10.5" h x 6" w x 2" d.
Have a sunny day!
