This beautiful piece is an authentic 1993 Holmegaard Christmas advent decanter / liqueur bottle (known natively in Denmark as the Juleflaske).
Designed by the Danish design duo Michael Bang and Jette Frölich, this annual limited-edition collectible liqueur carafe features highly vibrant screen-printed graphics depicting a traditional, cozy Danish country kitchen preparing for Christmas as well as (my favourite bit) numerical advent calendar gauge marked 1 through 24. This allows you to track the holiday countdown daily throughout December by filling it with Akvavit, schnapps, whiskey, or your favorite holiday spirit! This piece comes complete with its original factory neck label and cork stopper topped with a weathered brass loop ring.
This piece is 7.25” tall, 3.5” wide, and 3” deep.
Excellent vintage condition. The glass is brilliantly clear with zero chips, cracks, structural repairs, or interior cloudiness. The holiday decals and gold detailing are complete and bright.
