In spite of protests and organized campaigns to keep the ride open, in September of 1998 Disneyworld closed one of Disney's most beloved rides- Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
Here is a chance to own VERY RARE collector's memorabilia from that very sad day.
In the lot are two "In Loving Memory Wild Ride" tombstones with the dates the ride opened and closed. One is green. The other white.
A pin with Mr. Toad in his car with the 1971 - 1998 dates.
A "Help Save Mr. Toad" Mr. Toad round pin. This looks a little tired on the back, but the front is ok.
Two collector's Mr. Toad "Disney" cards, commemorating the opening of the Mr. Toad ride in 1955 at Disneyland.
Also included is a "Mr. Toad's Wild Pins" lanyard. This has a clasp at the end to hang a pass. The wording is embroidered and it closes with Velcro to easily adjust. When opened full length it measures 42 inches long. In good condition and does not look like it has been used. The "made in china" tag is still on the plastic hook.
