Deadstock Vault Sample w/ Dual Licensing Provenance (CBN 1.392 / Style 1498)Up for sale is an incredibly scarce piece of animation and toy history: an official, fully documented 2004 Care Bears \"Nursery Line\" Pre-Production Prototype Table Lamp. Produced by industry leaders The Betesh Group / Baby Boom Consumer Products (in conjunction with their textile division, Interica), this premium piece was created during the height of the iconic 2002–2004 Care Bears brand relaunch. Sent directly to the brand owner\'s corporate headquarters for aesthetic and legal review, this lamp represents a premium design tier rarely seen in final retail environments.Key Premium Features:Solid Wood 2D Base: Unlike the hollow, injection-molded plastic bases found on standard retail items, this prototype features a heavy, flat, laser-cut wooden cloud base.Painted Details: The base features a classic white finish with painted blue accent clouds, showcasing studio-level craftsmanship before mass-production automation.Premium Embroidered Lampshade: The high-quality fabric lampshade features beautifully detailed, direct-stitch machine embroidery of Love-a-Lot Bear and Funshine Bear.Archival Provenance & Authentication: This piece features absolute, ironclad provenance with matching corporate tracking markers on both the item and its original factory routing box:The Official Licensing Label: Features the authentic, handwritten archive sticker reading \"SAMPLE RETURN TO LICENSING\" with internal routing code \"CBN 1.392\"—applied directly by the American Greetings / Those Characters From Cleveland (TCFC) quality assurance team. The Factory Tracking Label: Features the original Betesh/Baby Boom manufacturer\'s white inventory sticker matching the factory style item number (1498).Condition Report (Pristine \"Time Capsule\" Deadstock):This piece is in flawless, untouched archive-fresh condition. It serves as a literal corporate time capsule, having been stored away safely for over two decades. The lamp has never been displayed, used, or exposed to UV light.
It retains all original factory packaging, including the protective plastic covers over the shade and base.
The electrical cord has never been unwrapped, and the plug prongs still feature the original factory plastic protective cap.Because mass retail lines almost universally substituted high-end wood and embroidery for cheaper plastic builds, this authentic prototype is a museum-grade \"holy grail\" center-piece for any serious Care Bears completionist or vintage toy archivist.Shipping & Handling Details:
