Set of 5 vintage commemorative matchbooks from the 26th Reunion of the USS Ranger (CV-4), held October 15-19, 1992 in St. Louis, Missouri. Printed by D.D. Bean & Sons Co., Jaffrey, NH.Each matchbook features the blue reunion design: "U.S.S. Ranger C.V. 4, 26th Reunion, October 15-19-1992, St. Louis, Mo." with the motto "1st From The Keel Up."All five are unused and unstruck with clean striker strips. Honest condition notes: age-related yellowing and light foxing (brown spots) on white areas - heaviest on one example (right edge); a few tiny specks/stains on others; minor shelf wear. No tears, creases, or rusted staples.A nice piece of U.S. Navy history for a Ranger crewman, naval collector, or military ephemera enthusiast.
